As a beloved local snack brand, Herr’s did not have an awareness problem in the regional market. For the past few years, however, they were down in sales compared to the big name chip brands on store shelves. To help get their numbers up, we brought them back to their roots. Using the nostalgia of timeless black and white photography, and a flexible messaging convention that hit hard on what Herr’s is synonymous with — family, flavor, Philly, and fandom — we reignited our audience’s love for this snack aisle staple.
